Have any of these stone collaborations been brewed yet, what ever happened to that super wootstout or whatever? I mean it has been over a year since this crowd funding fiasco went into affect.

They weren't going to do **** for at least 2 years anyway. Why anyone bought into that interest free loan on beer that is going to suck dick and be past its prime by the time it goes from Berlin to our soil is beyond me.

But then again, it's Stone. They can market any thing.

They get beer from California to the UK pretty fast (e.g. Enjoy By) so I wouldn't see this being a problem.

Talking to their distro, they do a crapload of work to make sure the freshest stock goes into o/s containers - to the point where if there are shipping delays, they brewery team pull the stock and replace them at the last minute. It's weird that I know for sure how fresh their stock is in my local bottleshop vs the brewery a few kms down the road who don't datestamp bottles.

I went there for the BUFF brewday... the pilot brew of the Maui beer was on tap and was legit. I'd do a magnum of that solo, then consider all my self-hatred at once

Seems like a strange choice for the Maui beer considering Maui already does an imperial coconut porter themselves.
