starter with old DME

Quick question for you guys, I need to make a starter, but the only DME I have is a pound that was from a 2 pound pack that I opened up 4 months ago. Is there any problem with using this DME? (it's been kept in a ziploc bag)

As long as the DME looks ok and is not hard as a brick it should be fine.
