Starter with 1.080 stout with nottingham yeat

Making a 1.080 stout with nottingham yeast. Am I better off making a starter or just pitching the 1 packet? I know 2 packets are ideal but I dont feel like going back out to get another packet.
 
Make a starter, <1L should be fine if you rehydrate properly and give it a good shake every now and then.
