when i pitch my yeast into my starter and put it on my stir plate do I

1.have the stir on for 24 hrs???
2. poke a hole in the aluminum foil on top of my flask to allow CO2 to escape?

Thanks:rockin:

Yes, stir continuously to oxygenate the beer as much as possible to encourage yeast growth.

And no, don't poke a hole in the foil. It will be fine without it.
