I am trying to get setup for a brew session tomorrow and setting up 2 two way controllers for a chronical I just picked up.

Having issues with the setup. (read the instructions several times but the alarm keeps going off).

I already sent a note to SS brewtech for help via email.

I hit set briefly set the point to +3.2 LS -4, HS +6, AH +10, AL 0. Alarm keeps going off. Current temp on the controller is 70.3.

What gives? Aka what I am doing wrong?

Should the AH and AL be set to +4 each?

Any help is much appreciated.

Yeah, I'm using mine for the first time too. Had an issue with testing and contacted SS. There is a 5 min delay programmed into the controller. That's to prevent the Chill and heat pad constantly overlapping, as your target may be 63 and it will go to say 62 and you don't want the heat to kick in. You can override the default 5 min setting https://ssbrewtech.zendesk.com/hc/e...ller-is-Blinking-Is-My-System-Malfunctioning-

Depending on your ambient temp, this can be annoying, and you may want to override

it is weird I have three of these controllers one is working like I expected which is as follows:

Set point is 70F
d - 5
LS 68
HS 75
P7 - 3
AH +15.5
AL 0

The above controller isn't having the issue. The other two are set to this:

d +2
LS -5
HS +5
AH +3
AL +3

Current temp 70.5 F
Alarms still going off.

Have it hooked up to the heat pad on a chronical, then the chill pump is in the glycol chiller

Didnt study this but those settings seem way off. THere is a R button on the front if I remember correct that will reset the thing. I messed mine up once and pressed this, it turned off then back and and all was well.
