Well, I have enough Stout and Porter to last me through the winter, but need a solid springtime beer. I've seen German/American etc wheat kits, but wheat beer has more of a summer feel to me. Is there a good in between beer for semi-warm weather?

This is currently the front runner, but I haven't tried this style before:

If you can do a lager, a maibock is the perfect spring time beer! If you can't do a real maibock, Rogue Dead Guy is called a "maibock style ale" and my recipe is a good facsimile of that beer.

If you want to stick with an light ale, try a "Kolsch".
Stepping grains:
1/2lb. Weyermann Lt. Munich
1/2lb. Weyermann Cara red
Fermetables:
6lbs. Pilsen or light DME
Hops:
1 oz. Tettnager 60min.
1oz. Hallertau 10min.
German Ale Yeast: I use Wyeast 1007XL
