So im really confused!.
I did a 10gal batch of Light Lager couple weeks ago that i split in two fermenters and gave one to my neighbor.
7gal RO,7GAL Tap,Along with acid and mineral additions.
Both pitched with same yeast amounts.
They have both been fermented at different temps and kegged and early carbed.
Now we took samples of each and we noticed my sample had a lack of sweetness that his had and a hot tasting note and also a taste i dont even know how to describe...

I guess if i could it would be Sulphur mixed with bannana and lacking sweetness that his sample had.
Like bad water????!.

So i dont even know what im asking just puzzled.

Also the sulphury banana taste was more on back of tongue than front if that helps.

Maybe an infection of some sort?
I guess i could be more thorough on my cleaning.

Anyone????

Fermentation temperatures are a huge part of the flavor profile, as well as how much yeast was used. . Which yeast strain did you use, and what temperature did you ferment the beer at?

S23 and i had the temp controller around 55 for this batch.
I usually do 50 and have had great results each time hut wanted to do something different.
