Hi All,

I want to build a SoFC and want to go with a digital thermostat in lieu of the mechanical. I've looked at a lot of pieces on the inter-web and came up with these three pieces of equipment and was hoping you all could tell me if they will be compatible:
12V Digital Thermotat: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XBWZ432/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20

12V Power Adapter: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KZ2ZQE8/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20

Computer Fan: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0050BX312/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20

Please let me know what you think and thanks so much for the help!

Although I've seen the term used I actually had to look up what a Son Of Fermentation Chiller actually entails.

Your selection of WH7016, 12VDC @ 3A wall wart and 12VDC fan should play together just fine.
I'd prefer a 120mm fan over the 80mm as they're usually quieter for the same air movement, but either will do...

Cheers!

Thanks DT! For the fan, do you think something like this would be better than the 80mm?

That fan should work well.

Note that you've been looking at sleeve bearing models.
Something to consider would be a ball bearing model from a longevity aspect...

Cheers!
