HBT,
I know this has been touched upon in previous threads, but I would like to ask if anyone has an opinion on using pure sodium percarbonate instead of proprietary blends like One Step or Easy Clean. What would be the advantage of blending sodium percarbonate with sodium carbonate, for example? I know PBW adds metasilicate, but it seems to me that straight up sodium percarbonate would not be a bad option for cleaning carboys and autosiphons, and it is available on the cheap. Anybody out there actually use 100% sodium carbonate with satisfactory results?
