First time using my 10 gal 3-vessel system. Took me around 8 hours from starting to cleaning. Hopefully I will reduce this time when I get more familiar with new system.

Result: 5.5 gal APA

Going to brew a Belgian blonde ale using S-33 yeast. Also going to bottle my saison.

It feels weird not to be making a yeast starter. I haven't used dry yeast in over a year now.

i am scheming an IPA with 16oz of Citra and 16oz of Simcoe.... only question is whether to split that across 10 or 15 gallons.... decisions, decisions!

Might get around to a coffee stout for winter. We'll see how things play out with the family life...

This ipa is 1oz each simcoe, citra, mosaic at 10, WP, and DH. Small amount of warrior at 30min. 5.5gallon batch. Mash at 155F. Had wife, who hates beer, smell it. She swore it was pineapple/mango juice. Just a thought..

Back at it after a brief break. (m)Oktoberfest this weekend and introducing a friend to the craft. After cracking open my keg of Oktoberfest from July, I realized I was going to want more soon.

I might get to squeeze in 2 brews this week. It's been a loooooong time since I've been able to. The wife and kids are going apple picking on Saturday morning with grandma. Going to brew a pumpkin ale.

Brewing a Columbus/Chinook DIPA on Sunday. Starter is currently sitting on the stir plate, and will be cold crashing that tomorrow to decant Sunday morning. Using 8 oz of fresh hop cones in the boil with a few more in DH. My standard 3 gal batch

Golden Corn IPA with El Dorado hops
and
Alt Beer with San Fran lager yeast and two different local Munich malts - a chewy 6-row and a toasty 2-row finished with Pekko hops.

I just did a Russian Imperial Stout and I can drink the wort for breakfast, so good. OMG it's gonna be a long wait on this one.

Trying out lagering for the first time with a German bock. Fermenting at 50*F. Its also the first time I've tried BIAB and decoction. Super excited for this back to be ready

Doing an RIS I created between this years HBC winner and GLBC blackout stout, half-way through boil now.
