I'm down to two 22 oz. bottles left of a Coopers IPA that I made late 2011. I hopped the crap out of it (4 oz. of cascade to be exact) to five gallons. Anyways I promised some of my co workers and even teased them with pics of my beer, well I never came through on my promise of giving them any. This ever happened to you? Ha Ha

Looks good. But you shouldn't welch on a promise like that.

But I have to say, 4oz considered as "hopping the crap out of it"..... made me giggle quite a bit.

Nope, doesn't happen to me. But I keep a good pipeline going and don't have to worry about being stingy.

I promise people beer once they realize the effort it takes to produce a batch. Kind of like a "get a free nights stay at a lake resort by coming to our lecture."

Then again, most of the time I get tipsy and offer up all my goods for everyone's enjoyment! Never stop the party down by being "that guy".

I promise beer to all my friends, with one caveat. They have to come to my house to drink it on draft because I'm too lazy to bottle it.

Yep I have had it happen. Had a boss who was always asking for beer, so I would bring one or two in for her. Well when that got out everyone started asking. I finally had to cut them all off and say if you want some you have to come over to my place and help me brew it. Funny how nobody asks for beer anymore. Oh well more for me.

heh...im bottling a couple of bombers for a friend that came over and helped me brew last weekend here in a few minutes.....he thought it took like 30 minutes to an hour to brew. a 90 minute mash and a 90 minute boil later he saw the light.

I have a big enough pipeline that the only thing that stops me from sharing is remembering to take some.

I also got a laugh out of "hopped the hell out of it with 4 ounces". Most of my beers have near 4 ounces. I now have more than 7 pounds of hops in my stock. Maybe it is time for a IIPA or V or VI or VII? ;)

Yes I thought the 4 ounces was too much but I like it. My wife on the other hand says its to hardcore. Then she likes michalob ultra.:(
