Hi - am fermenting a CA common. It was mashed at 150F and I also added 14 oz corn sugar so it should be pretty fermentable.

I pitched on Sunday afternoon at about 66F (a little high) and have had it at 63-64F since. OG was 1.053 and after 4 days it’s only down to about 1.038 or so and seems stuck there for the last day (I have a tilt and confirmed today’s reading with hydrometer)

I’m used to ales so this might be normal for this strain even though it’s at an ale temp. Or... something is wrong.

Would appreciate the wisdom of the community!
