Hello, I pitched some cider vic 23 yeast 4 days ago. Had some small bubbles form 2 days ago and now have this bit of foam. Strong sulfur smell as well. I assume it's working but would like some verification on if its working. How long should i wait to really kick off? Last year I had 2 inches of bubbles by now. Thanks.

What kind of juice? Did you use any yeast nutrients? What temperature? Any additions other than juice? These will all affect fermentation.

Pure organic apple juice. It's around 23 C in that room. 1 tsp of yeast energizer. Started half the yeast with sugar and water for 3 hrs til it was foamy then added it with the other half dry.
