I ordered the sterile tubes and saline from Amazon. Now I just have to wait to order a new packet of yeast. I have two jars left from my last packet. I should order a new packet in April.

Since you're curious...
I only bank mixed cultures with Brett so personally I wouldn't see much benefit from this method.
I buy new Sacc for every batch because I use such a variety of strains and simply don't want the extra work and contamination risk inherent in banking and propagating. Brewing 5+ gal batches means the yeast cost isn't too much for my budget.

If I did bank single strains, this is the method I'd use and definitely in small ~10mL vials to save fridge space.
