Hey all,

I have a simple grain bill that I keep coming back to for my iPA:

10 lbs Maris Otter
.5 lb Crystal 60
.5 lb Rye

I like a malty backbone and a bit of sweetness, and a huge hop bill to back it up. I have these on hand so I was thinking of the following hop schedule:

.5oz Nugget 60 minutes
1 oz each Simcoe, Cascade, Nugget 1 minute before flame out

In the late additions, I was trying for some manner of balance of all of the main hop flavors/aromas (piney, dank/resinous, citrus, floral, and fruity). Will this get lost with my grain bill? is this going to turn into hop sauce? is it all going to be too much for the palate? Another grain bill I've used with success in the past might let these hops shine through a bit more:

5lbs 2-row
5lbs Maris Otter
1lb wheat

Any opinions? Happy Labor Day Weekend :)

Cheers :mug:, shoshin
