Do not know if this is the right forum for this topic but here it is...
I have a refrigeration background and I'm very good at siver soldering and lead free soldering.
From my experiance I have found that silver soldering seems more sanitary, grant it is a higher heat soldering and if you do not know what you are doing you can cause the copper to flake, but the upside is you do not have to use any of that nasty flux like you do on lead free.
Has anyone used silver solder in place of lead free? Is silver solder ok to use in a food servce application?
Any thoughts or experiance in this is appreiciated.
