I brewed this months ago but just found the inspiration for a label recently. Deschutes Twilight clone!

Another label idea but its missing a little something in the main body. Cant quite put my finger on what would make it not as plain. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Happy New Years Homebrewtalk friends!

Is it really .5% ABV? I do like the label. Maybe add your name or hometown.

I have made a few labels with inspiration from everyone on here. I know i have stole some ideas, well most of my ideas.... After looking at all these on this thread i see i have a long way to go. You guys have some awesome labels. Here are a few that I have made.

I'm most certainly not the Photoshop expert... is that what you meant?

Hey that's pretty darn close man Thanks!... There is one that sort of makes it look 3D like its bent around a ball ...But that's great non the same.

Many Thanks to jwlubich for help with my new label. Maybe I can twist his arm to do the other one as well ..:ban:
PM me your address and Ill send you a couple bottles for your efforts.

I don't know how to curve or wrap or whatever you call the process to the lettering, but it would improve them I think. If some one can do that for me Id be obliged.

Here is the other one. Let me look at it and see if I see something more 3D.
I'll probably take you up on a couple brews! Love to try someone else's beer! I'll dm you.

You got it Bro!

Here's the pair together....I like the bigger lettering on top of the Amber but their both very nice.

Got your PM so Ill check with the PO about getting you out a package.:mug: Thanks again Mate! :)

Working on ideas for two upcoming brews.

An altbier named after the long long long running German police show Der Alte (the final label will feature my dear old dad in some form, but I'm not going to be posting that here):

A paler than normal weissbier due to me seeing how it turns out with pale ale malt (Beersmith blog mentioned them as an option, and there isn't any pilsner malt available anywhere right now, will do that later though), Walko Wehnä would be kinda like "Vhite Vheat":

Here's a screenshot of the label that I've been using lately. It's just a basic label similar to the ones Brooklyn Brew Shop has for their recipe kits. I have it in a .pdf form, I add the necessary info, and then print. There's 12 labels to a page.

Here is our newest Nut Brown Ale. 'Ono. Dumped a ton of macadamia nuts in this one. Thus, Hawaii baby; and I wanted to avoid the typical chipmunk, squirrel imagery.

Instead of "Damn!" shouldn't the chipmunk/squirrel be saying, "That's NUTS!"

:drunk:

Here is something I made today. It's more of an idea than a name that will be printed and put on my fridge. Still trying to re-learn graphics editing in Gimp since Photoshop has become too expensive for what I use it for.

Wow that looks pro. Nice job!
I downloaded Gimp and could not even figure out how to add text...seems like a complicated program to me.

I appreciate the kind words. I've been doing web design as a hobby for a long time and most carried over to the new program. All I can say is don't get discouraged. I spend most of my time on Google searching for GIMP tutorials, which is the easiest way to learn all the more advanced features. And it saves more time for beer! :mug:

Nah..I'm not disappointed...I passed the buck and asked for help in return for a couple beers and got it in a couple days..:D

Carry on:rockin:
