Shipping and kits

I don't have a homebrew store close and I have noticed that shipping on most of the wine kits is expensive! ($20+). What can I do to get around this? I was thinking maybe I should open up an online store so I wouldn't have to buy from someone else LOL.

Northern Brewer and Austinhomebrew.com have flat shipping rates, so I order some of my wine kits when I order beer supplies.

Yooper, I thought Northern Brewer wanted to charge extra for the heavy wine kits last time I looked? I ended up ordering from Austinhomebrew.com because even though the kit was a little more they charged the standard $7.99 shipping so it came out cheaper.

Darn! It's been a while since I ordered one from NB so I didn't realize they charged actual shipping. The last couple I ordered were from austinhomebrew.com.
