I bought a pale ale kit from AHS back in October and I put off brewing it until now because I didn't have time. I know I'll need to get new yeast, but is my malt still good? The extract and the bag of grains have been in my closed brew pot in a cool place since then. Are they still good to brew with or should I get new ingredients?

the extract is fine. If the grains were already ground you may want to replace them for flavor's sake. I would try a starter with the yeast before tossing it. It very well may still be good.
