Got a few hours of fishin in today. Not much of a winter fisherman but its been pretty mild so I headed out. Hooked up a decent pike, not great, but it made my day. Maybe its my pet pikes momma.........lol

3. Kissin' Bass!

I thought I was the only one who kissed fish in photos! I should post a pic of me kissing that least desirable of fishy kissees, the carp. Well, catfish would be bad too.

Some pics from our November trip back in 2010 - I'm jones-ing bad to get back offshore. The Red Snapper season was moved due to the BP spill so it kind of worked out -- hopefully we'll be going again this spring.

Hit the local hole the other day fished for a few hours. Came up with couple nice beasts. Cat was pretty lethargic but the pike put up a good fight!!

Other people on the boat caught the sharks -- but fin soup and shark steaks are good eating. I believe they are blacktip?
