a couple shots from my 2010 trip to grand rapids, Manitoba. I dont fish often, but when i do we have fun!

Congratz on that. Always great to see them reel in their first. This is my little girl last year at the end of the season off our boat dock on current river. Managed to get a big chub minnow as we call em to bite a worm. She was so proud

My son always has fun and can't wait until we catch one that we can eat. keeping fish out of city retention ponds doesn't really appeal to me though...

Well I got to Sneak out today and fool some Trout on the Flyrod!!

Here's a big cat I caught this summer on a night trip. Not sure how heavy, but it was a fight.

Heres two more we hooked and fought simultaneously. It was fun watching the line peel off my reel while this thing ran.

Here's some other fish I caught a few monthes back. Baby pike!! Got about ten total out of a mud hole about 50 feet from the rivers edge. Threw 8 back into the river and kept 2 for my efforts.

Well if ya ever want someone to talk it off your hands let me kno lol.

I have a very additive personality. So when I find a new hobby I hit it a little hard. I have boxes and boxes of fly stuff. I could thin it out but as soon as I do. I need that one weird color o flashing that I never use. I tie a lot of micro jigs leaches and nymphs for lake taneycomo trout. And I have a killer crawdad pattern I use for pans and smallies.

Thanks ABG, that was my first fly rod trout. I was steelhead fishing in NE Ohio. I assumed it has a steelhead jack but there has been much discussion as to the specie of that fish.

That's a nice fish. Chinook, right? What did that thing weigh?

Large mouth at my local resevoir. Caught it using watermelon Senko and Gamakatsu Wicked Wacky Weedless hook.

15 minutes later I caught a Small Mouth from the same weeds!

If it's either one of those, it's a new world record! From the picture, it looks to me like it's a large Chinook male, or King salmon.

Caught this toad white sea bass back in June '10, went 58lbs and took two trips around the boat and 45 minutes to get her in. Delicious. I really need to prioritize my time better this year...

Active little Mahi. I love blue water fishing

A Striper from the Susquehanna flats. Only catch and release during the Spring and some big fish find their way up into skinny water. Lots of fun, but recently the fishing has really declined. There is a lot of pressure on these fish up and down the East Coast.

Another Striper, not so news worthy. :cross:

And finally what I mostly fish for - Largemouth and mostly at night, because well ... that's when I have time.

I did a Tennesee trout slayin' roadtrip with a buddy of mine.

Loaded up the jeep complete with one whitewater raft:

caught a few little trout

Drank lots of beer.

That's a beer my buddy brewed at a BOP place near Cleveland called the "Itinerant Angler Ale"
