As much as I love hoppy beers (it’s 95% of what I bring home from the store) I don’t brew them that often. I’ve yet to try making a session version. Anything anyone would change? Here’s the 5.5 gal recipe:

5.25 lbs pale ale
1.25 lbs white wheat
0.5 lb caramel 60
1 oz cane sugar
0.25 lb DME (starter)
0.25 oz Jarrylo @ FWH
1.5 oz @ 15 mins/whirlpool
4.75 oz dry hop

1.045/1.008
4.8%
69 IBUs (Rager)
7 SRM
90% efficiency

I like it. My only suggestions would be not to use sugar since sessions tend to end up on the thinner side and the sugar will probably thin it out more (unless your looking for a very lite crisp beer than you’re set) I also think traditional American IPAs should have a IBU/GU of 1.0, so I would aim for about 45 ibus to match your OG
