I have a cascade plant at my girlfriend's parents house that is a fourth year pant that was transplanted in its third year. It just started to produce burrs as I made it up here today.
I want to take the plant apart, cut the roots up and make a bunch of plants to crawl up the side of some lattis. They live far enough away that I only make it out a couple times a year so I only have a week from now to work on it.
My question is... Should I cut the roots up and spread the plant into 8 or so plants? Or should I leave it as is, pull some of the offshoots and try to get them to take?
Thanks!
