Hello all, I'm a sometime home brewer who has played a bit with some Gert Strand stuff too. Regular on rec.homebrewing, have done a couple of beers, wasted some honey making a bad mead from scratch, done several fruit wines and am now waiting on Ed Wort's Apfelwein to hurry up and ferment, already - wanted to make that after a semi-recent trip to Germany and got plastered in Frankfurt.

Hope to add something worthwhile!
 
Well, it kinda got very screwed up, by me - champagne yeast by accident, marked wrong - it was like a dark purple (added blueberries) but tasted like the driest white wine ever - but it makes a powerful 'shine. :mug:
