Howdy,

It's been a long time since I've posted and this year I've decided to give hops another try in central Texas. This time, it was 4 Cascade rhizomes, but planted in a large deep water trough using the same setup for the twine for the hop bines to climb. So far so good. One has reached the top and they are already producing hops.

Enjoy!

Looking good!! I've got three Cascades growing right now. One is already producing cones...and the other two are close behind. I'll have to look up the hefe recipe...need to make one for my wife.

Hi Ed. Was wondering how your crop turned out this year? Looking to do the same, and was wondering if you could explain your setup for the twine. I'm just outside of Georgetown, so will have similar growing conditions as you. Thanks for any help.
