Howdy,

It's been a long time since I've posted and this year I've decided to give hops another try in central Texas. This time, it was 4 Cascade rhizomes, but planted in a large deep water trough using the same setup for the twine for the hop bines to climb. So far so good. One has reached the top and they are already producing hops.

Enjoy!

Your hefeweizen was the first all grain brew I ever did about 3 years ago and I still brew it today. I have a batch in the fermenter now.

It's good to see you back Ed. Cheers!

Looking good!! I've got three Cascades growing right now. One is already producing cones...and the other two are close behind. I'll have to look up the hefe recipe...need to make one for my wife.
