I don't know anyone that dislikes Cloudburst.

People complain to me they always make different beers that are not easily distinguished from each other and I get that conplaint. I say the exact thing about Monkish. But I am ok with being in the minority with that opinion for both breweries. I at least really appreciate that cloudburst makes hazy, west coast, and NW style hoppy beers that range from pale to tipa. Monkish is just 100% hazy 8.4% dipa.

Does the venue have a distributor they use or can they go through anyone they want? I wonder if you or someone in the wedding could start talking to Reubens now about getting a Gose keg for the wedding and working with the venue.

They list Chuckanut Pilsner on their in-house beer list. The rest kinda sucks but hey man you get yer pils.

Wedding beer update, we drank a 1/6th barrel of Chuckanut Pils, Manny's Pale Ale, and Reuben's IPA last night. Hopefully they have lots more Chuckanut tonight.

Headed up today for the Pearl Jam show. Planning on being at HM @ 3 when they open, but what's shiny and new these days? I usually hit up some mixture of Machine House, Seapine, Reuben's, Stoup, Urban Family, Cloudburst, and Fremont as well.

Reuben's probably has a ton of IPAs still on tap from IPA Day and their Anniversary party. Urban Family has a killer taproom-only pilsner that's still on.

My wife’s cousin was in town last month and I took him to Cloudburst at 2pm. Just a regular Thursday and there were 30-40 people in front of us in line.

Anyone have thoughts on Mirage brewing? Saw some bottles appear locally- both saisons, but at about $25 a bottle, so figured I might inquire if anyone had thoughts on the brewery.

I like Mirage’s canned offerings (IPAs, Pilsners, lagers) a lot. I’ve only had one of their saisons but it was pretty good.

Today was my first week in our new office, directly across the street from the Masonry Fremont. Went in for lunch today and tried the Jester King Meowza, and had a meatball hoagie. Sure beats ******* Factoria.

Queen Anne Masonry has a keg of Burning Sky Cuvée on at the moment - it’s expensive but drinking really nicely. I’m a big fan of theirs generally and I think this might be the first time they’ve been on draft in the state.

Hard to say. I showed up at like 1:30, went in and had two pours—and a little more—then went out and got in a relatively short line and got 2x Hazelnut and 3x King’s Head (Coffee/Cardamom was gone). Obviously a long line prior, but I’m not complaining; I didn’t show up at 7am.
