Does this happen with Blackberry Sec? I would be willing to bet it's an acid issue - our fruit has a lot of acid.

Haven't noticed yet with Blackberry Sec but could be because I've had that one fewer times than the rest of your lineup. I do know ginger and Apple have not triggered it.

I would be willing to bet it's a total acidity issue -- some people with acid reflux do report issues drinking highly acidic (red) wines.
