I wanted to know if anyone has had any experience brewing with tap water and a Scaleblaster tankless water softener.
I have one just as the water main enters my house and it works wonders! No more lime scale on my shower doors, shower heads and faucets throughout the house. Water feels great in the shower and even my wife has noticed a difference in her hair.
But what about brewing? If you're unfamiliar with how this works, it basically sends out a high frequency wave causing calcium molecules to lose their charge. The don't build up and slip through the pipes.
Here is more info:

But I have yet to try brewing with it. I think the water tastes pretty good. I know I have chloramine so I'd used campden tabs for that.
Any thoughts? Does anyone else have a Scaleblaster? Have you brewed with it?
