I'm getting tired of the weldless fittings. While I've largely eliminated leaks, the fittings simply move around too much. For instance:
  • Note the tilted sight tube in the top kettle (photo below)
  • A less obvious example is how each valve twists during every movement or adjustment...it's annoying: I must make it stop!
I know...first world problems... However, what I'm looking for are 10-gallon kettles with:
  • Straight lips, as the rolled lips make it just a Little More annoying to keep things clean.
  • Welded fittings: less leak-prone, and things stay where you put them. Tri-clamp is fine too; I have those on a fermenter already. There's also the sanitary argument, but I haven't seen an infection yet.
  • Strong, coated, handles which can hold the lid: dirty lids, and burns, suck.
  • Dished bottom, and/or simply improved venting: improved heat transfer, reduced fuel consumption, etc.

Between Stout, Chapman, SS BrewTech, AMCYL, and Anvil, I can't seem to scratch this itch. While I suppose I could MIG a DIY option, is there a commercial product I'm overlooking?

So...my tower is a door, literally:
