so sad, think i screwed up.
i bought siphon hose at lowes. now i realize i dont think its food grade. could that give me an off flavor, when i siphon from the primary to the bottling bucket?
kinda a plasticy smell but maybe cardboardy too.

when i bottle(attach the wand to the bucket spigot with a small piece off hose) i also have been getting a "tornado" is oxidation causing this off flavor?

or i only boiled my priming sugar solution a minute or two? my water does have a slight chlorine smell. shoulda boiled longer?

both beers tasted good before bottling.

fermented at around 68 degrees

i got food grade siphon hose. and i practiced with star san bottling with my siphon instead of the spigot. much happier. no tornado. gonna bottle next week.
