Is the anti-caking substance Calcium Silicate added to salt a problem or is it possible to find non-iodized salt without it?
A problem in brewing? I doubt it.
You can use sea salt instead (I do). Or kosher salt.
Yes, you can buy pickling/canning salt. That is iodine and anti-caking agent free salt. That's what I use.
I'll see if I can find some canning salt. Didn't see any at Walmart.
