Hi All,

I want to brew my first lager next month and decided to brew a 10% Baltic porter. I ordered 3 packs of Saflager W-34/70 last year but never got around to brewing anything with them. Now they are almost out of date so I would like to use them up.

I can't seem to find a definitive answer on what % of Alc. this yeast stops working. Would they survive 10%? The data sheet on the Fermentis website doesn't give any value and I've seen anything from 9 to 15% when I do an internet search

I'll be overpitching with 3 packs in about 4 gallons.

Thanks for your answers.
