RTD Connector

I picked up a couple of these "aviation type" connectors:

for RTD's coming into my panel.

Can anyone suggest what to use for a strain relief coming out of the connector? The opening is almost 1/4" but the RTD wires in the braid aren't anywhere near that size.

Find a solid rubber plug with the needed O.D.
Drill a hole through the plug smaller than the RTD wire.
Slice the plug along one side to slip over the cable.
It will all squeeze together nicely with the attached cable clamp.

I used some doubled up shrink tube myself for the cables that were smaller..I even color coded the plugs that way.
