1 lb roasted barley
1.5 lbs roasted chocolate rye
.5 lbs crystal 40
.5 lbs crystal 120
.5 lbs flaked barley
3 oz northern brewer @ 60 min
Wyeast 1056
OG 1.056
IBU 46.5
28.9 srm
5.7% abv
I've never used roasted chocolate rye before, but it sounds like it should add some nice roasted and chocolate flavor without being too astringent. Also, I'm not sure how the combination of crystal malts will play out.
Thoughts?
