Risks of drinking apfelwein!

After 2 glasses of drinking some of the famous apfelwein, I was reaching into the drawer for my trusty Redskins musical bottle opener when a mandolin blade jumped at me out of nowhere and did this:

Just don't drink Apfelwein whilst brewing.
I made that mistake. once.

I don't remember adding the yeast to my IPA ... but I know I did.
The reptilian part of my brain finished that brew...

HaHa... I hear you on that. Although, I find it hard to drink and brew. I made 3 batches this weekend, and only drank 6 beers total... Too much time playing with the set up and watching thermometers.. sad, but they are hypnotic to me.. 154.8....154.8....154.7... Lost 3 hrs of my life to that this weekend.. but wouldn't change a thing.
