Just a quick shout out for Mr. Spock. Live long and prosper.

I'm too young for the original Star Trek (Captain Picard was my first Enterprise captain), but the legacy is legendary.

It's a wonderful, groundbreaking series, and one that was made that way due to the awesomeness which is Mr.Spock (among others).

I am really sad. It should remind us all "Live Long and Prosper". I remember watching re-runs of the original series after school. Ironically I just re-watched Star Trek, Into Darkness yesterday.

I will admit to being a little choked up when I heard the news.

I was just a kid for the original series. As weird as it sounds, it had a significant influence on my life. I got into science and computers because of the show. I can't think of any other TV show or movie I could say that about.

I remember as kid that I would stop playing to go watch the show. I think the show got a lot of people into different fields of science. My dad was a chemist so I was always around some kind of science but Star Trek that was the future.
