I made my starter at 8pm tonight. I am brewing tomorrow and anticipate being redy to pitch around 8pm, so 24 hours later. I made a 1L starter with 100 grams DME using White Labs 001 California Ale Yeast. It is on my stir plate doing its thing. Here is my question:
1) do I let it stay on the plate until I need it and then just pitch the entire 1L starter?

Or
2) remove it from the the stir plate in the morning and refrigerate to try to drop some yeast, and decant, then pitch?

Thanks in advance,
Jay

Since you want to use it right at 24 hrs after you initiated the starter, I'd let it spin until then and pitch the whole thing.
