I plan on brewing several lager style beers this winter including a dark lager, bock, and an Octoberfest/Marzen style. I want to try and reuse the yeast. Does anyone have any suggestions on what style yeast might work best for doing this?

I use white lab yeast cause that's what my lhbs carries. I really like using the 830 the most. My second choice would be the 838. For the beers you are making I would think you are better off with the 830.

Lager yeasts arent as different as ale yeasts, most should work fine. I prefer wlp833, the ayinger strain, for munich style lagers. I like the malt profile on the finished beers.

wlp830 as mentioned above is pretty hassle free though, very neutral, and is pretty tolerant of less than ideal temp control. If your set up is not ideal, its the strain to go for.
