I would get rid of that cara/malts in that quantity, maybe 4oz total. Replace (even bump up) with some light Munich or Vienna or even the Maris Otter someone else suggested above. Also add first wort hopping to the equation, definitely decoction if you can. I would try a different yeast. 34/70 is solid but also bland. It will make a good lager, but try oktoberfest, southern gm, bock, etc. Split the batch and try 34/70 v. something else and you'll see what I mean.

Cutting the Carahell and Carapils in half and subbing in light Munich is a good idea. For yeast, try an Andechs strain. Def my favorite German yeast.

I have half a mind to go something like 50:5 barke pils and Vienna, 5oz carahell with spalt for modest hopping with Augustiner yeast.

Oh, yeah! Spalt is too often overlooked as a German hop. Maybe a light hand for bittering and a :15 min aroma with Tettnanger, Hattertau, or more Spalt. No need to make this recipe too complex. Less can sometimes be more.
