Is there a trick to removing some CO2 gauges?

When I got my dual regulator setup, the gauges were messed up. The vendor sent me new gauges, and I simply replaced them.

I somehow managed to mess up the gauge in my portable rig. The gauge sticks at about 15psi and won't register lower. I bought a replacement gauge.

However, when I went to remove the old gauge, it would not budge. I strained so hard, I hurt my hand. Is there something I'm missing here, or did a gorilla put this regulator together?

I could be mistaken, but some regulators are left hand threads, and some are right, have you tried turning the guage the opposite way?

Otherwise, I'm going with the gorilla.

Good Luck!

The left hand threads are usually on the primary side only (high pressure). Yeah the brass threads can gall up, and be hard to turn.
