Still unheard of here in Oregon. You pump your gas, you are breaking the law!I remember when pumping your own gas was unheard of.
The local hardware store had a tube testing station.

I remember buying cig's for my mom at 12 years old. Nobody questioned anything. Mom's in the car. And they were only $1.25 at the time.

How about the "THUMP, THUMP, THUMP" of bias plied tires on the first few miles of a cold winter day drive.
A package of trash bags came with some of these..
I wished I had some of them today. Our "Junk" drawer always had a stash when I was growing up.
