Red X Base Malt for Oktoberfest

I'm just curious what your thoughts on this might be, folks. I'm thinking a Marzen with bavarian lager yeast, 65-70% Red X, Vienna, some caramunich and maybe a bit o' special roast to round 'er out. Noble hops, of course.

Opinions?

Sounds delicious to me! I've used RedX a couple times, and I liked it. I think it is a natural fit for this recipe/style.

+1 - sounds great. I have about 15 lbs of the stuff in a vacuum bag but haven't quite gotten around to it yet
