Red Star Pryier Blanc Yeast

A friend gave me a dozen 5 gram packages of this dry yeast. What can it be used for?

Premier Blanc is a dry champagne yeast. I've used it for cider several times.

I've recently wanted to try a brut IPA, but I haven't gotten around to it. Having a dozen packets of premier blanc would be a motivator!
