Herkules Hop Recipes
There seems to be a complete absence of published recipes on this largely ignored hop. I found one from Latchkey Brewing and I include it here. If you have a proven recipe, one that was brewed and turned out great, I’d love to hear it.
One approach would be to modify a basic Belgian Golden Ale recipe. I also include a potential recipe for this approach.
Again, any ideas for using this hop are welcome.
Conan the German Pale Ale (Latchkey Brewing)
Batch Size: 6 gallons
Original Gravity: 1.049
Final Gravity: 1.008
Estimated Color: 5 SRM
ABV: 5.5%
Mash: 151 F for 75 minutes

Mash at 149 F. Boil for 75 minutes. Use your favorite clearing approach. Ferment 67 – 75 F. Cold crash to clear. Age for 2 months minimum.
