Hi, I was wondering if some experienced brewers could suggest a recipe from the ingredients I have. I'm in Korea, and have very limited ingredients available.
OK so here's what I have:

6.5 lbs of Light DME
1/2 lb Smoked Malt
1 lb carafa
1 lb carapils
1 lb vienna

hops: 1oz Perle Pellets AA 5.7%
1 oz Cascade Pellets AA 6.3%
2 oz Cascade AA 3.7% each

Thanks!
Eric

If you just had some yeast, you could make BEER!:rockin:

Seriously, what kind of yeast can you access?

I just have muntuns dry yeast.
If I used all of those ingredients what kind of beer would it be? a smoke imperial stout perhaps?

Let's say you call it a Smoked American Stout (assuming Carafa II):

1.068 OG, 1.020 FG, 6.3% ABV, 31SRM, 44IBU
US Cascade 6.3 % 1.00 oz 20.7 Loose Pellet Hops 60 Min From End
US Cascade 3.7 % 1.00 oz 11.1 Loose Pellet Hops 60 Min From End
German Perle 5.7 % 1.00 oz 9.3 Loose Pellet Hops 15 Min From End
US Cascade 3.7 % 1.00 oz 2.4 Loose Pellet Hops 5 Min From End

(also assuming Munton's not-Gold; CW says Gold attenuates better, no experience here)

I just plugged your ingredients into BeerAlchemy and futzed with the settings til I thought it looked realistic and tasty, but I've had two Gordons tonight :drunk: and some homebrews so don't read this.
