Recipe Kit

anyone out there ever brew the Austin Homebrew Supply American Red?

I ordered a mini-mash kit yesterday, it is the first AHS kit that i have ordered so i thought i would throw this question out there to see if anybody has had any experiences with this kit.

i have brewed a few recipes that i have come up with either based loosely on other recipes or have concocted with the guy at my lhbs but have never tried a recipe "kit". i have heard good things about AHS recipes so i thought i would give it a try to do something different.... thoughts?

The kits I got from them where pretty good. I'd say give it a shot.

You can't go wrong with Austin Homebrew Supply kits. I would put Forrest's recipes up against any kit you can buy or put together at a LHBS and I'd place my bet on AHS to win on yummy goodness.

I just brewed up that very same PM kit Sunday night. I used WLP001 instead of 051.
