 Finally recieved my new 5gal set-up (two-stage). Looking at brewing my first batch this weekend. I am debating between a pale ale, and maybe a red-ale as well. I have found plenty of recipes, but I would like a recipe from anyone who has something outstanding in this category.

Based on the supplies available at my LHBS, my brew will be a liquid malt extract with some specialty grains and pellet-hops.

Please share what you have available, it would be greatly appreciated.

There is an Amber Ale in "How to brew" that looked pretty interesting to me. He called it Big Basin Amber Ale. BTW, Im quite new at this too. Got my second batch bubbling away on the primary now.

Not sure about the "Outstanding" part but Im thinking of trying that one myself. Let me know if you want specifics. It is a Red Nectar Ale clone.
