Hi folks,
Hoping to get some feedback on this Imperial IPA I'm putting together. The goal is a citrus/tropical-fruit hop flavor that shows off the Calypso. Pretty straightforward, but I'd be especially interested in feedback on the yeast choice (WL California V). I picked it rather than the usual California Ale yeast to leave a bit more residual sweetness to balance out the hop bomb, but I've never used it so I just want to make sure it's a good choice. And any other feedback would be great (hop bill, grain bill, etc.).

Thanks!

P.S. For such a high gravity beer I will be making a starter. Just forgot to check that box.

Looks good to me, my friend. I have not previously used that yeast, so I can't advise you there.

For that gravity, I might even consider increasing the IBUs a little. Not that you're going to notice a big difference, especially when it's young, but as it ages out a little, having the extra bitterness might help keep the beer in balance for longer. Alternative: drink it as fast as possible.
