heres what i got so far and my software on my phone is showing its pritty close in color and og (with my efficieny about 65-70%).
Grain bill is
10# of 2 row
3# rye
2#vienna
.5# 40l
Hops 60 min 1oz leaf cascade- 8%
30min 1oz leaf cascade-8%
flameout 1oz leaf cascade -8%
yeast-safbrew t-58 (two packs)
The yeast is said to give it a peppery/spicy taste and thats excacally what I taste from this beer. any info is greatly appreciated! Thanks

The spicy/peppery is from the rye. Use US-05. T-58 is Belgian IIRC. Maybe also dry hop with an ounce of Cascade for a week.

I love Rastafa Rye!

Wow thanks for the headsup on the yeast the site I was looking at didn't mention it was a Belgium yeast ( I never used it). I was thinking either notty or us 05 but I think it's more of an English ale yeast rather than a American.. At least that's what I think

I could be wrong. One of those high gravity dry yeasts I thought was belgian-like...

I don't know anything about Notty. I heart US-05.

bringing this back from the dead as i just had a rastafa rye ale and it was very tasty. any word on a clone?
